Sean Gallagher
Hi! My name is Sean, and I am a graduate student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at FGCU currently completing my internship. I’ve studied psychology and counseling throughout my entire time in higher education, and I’ve maintained a steady passion for supporting others through life’s challenges and collaborating with people through their journey of self-discovery and growth.
In therapy, I believe that the most important thing is to create a space where you feel truly heard, accepted, and valued just as you are. It’s not my style to try to “fix” you or tell you what to do. Instead, I’m here to genuinely understand you and your experience while we explore what is most impactful for your time in therapy. My goal is to walk alongside you as you move toward greater clarity and confidence, even when working through the challenges that are toughest to face. I view therapy as something that is most effective when done collaboratively, and I look forward to discovering what a meaningful and supportive path looks like for you.

Life should not be this difficult. I do not want to repeat the mistakes of my parents and grandparents. I am not worthy of success or being loved. My upbringing/school/religion has affected me negatively. The anxiety/depression/ADHD is overwhelming, and I cannot get anything done. What if I told you it is possible to learn to feel worthy and accept love again? What if I told you that life can feel easy and responsibilities can be handled without being overwhelmed?
Hello, I am Amanda Kranich, MS, a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern, and I am the person in your corner rooting for you and saying your life does not have to be this experience.
All our journeys are unique yet have similar themes. We can create a plan to raise your self-worth through talk therapy, engage in exercises to support positive thinking or utilize art to support new self-messages.
Trauma from family conflict, witnessing trauma first or second hand, distressful thoughts, or memories that keep repeating can be reprocessed and released through EMDR. EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) is a therapy that allows the brain to connect to the distressing event and reprocess the information so the repeating theme or behaviors do not affect you as severely or at all.
If you struggle to accomplish goals or complete tasks, especially if you are managing ADHD, we can use solution-focused practices to help get you to your goal. I will explore and research additional services or supports to better align with your needs in therapy.
My services are offered during the week in the afternoon and evenings. I primarily work with adults and adolescents ages 12 and up. Workshops are offered on weekends. Please look for those events on our website and social media pages.
Amanda is now accepting new clients at a service rate of $135 a session as a Register Clinical Mental Health Counselor Intern IMH#26007 and is available to schedule with clients on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 4:30-6:30 pm.
If you are interested in learning more or scheduling an appointment with Amanda Kranich, please call our office at 239-297-7099 or use the chat feature to request an appointment.

Founder and Art Therapist
My counseling style is grounded in the humanistic perspective. I believe that we all have the desire and ability to reach our full potential and that each person has their own vision of what that potential is for her or himself. My job is not to tell you what that is, but to be a guide on your journey to your ultimate destination. I use art and play based interventions in my practice to help you develop insight, awareness, and understanding about your experience and aide you in using that information to create lasting change in your life. I interweave important concepts from cognitive-behavioral, dialectical behavioral, gestalt, and solution-focused therapy paradigms as appropriate to your goals.
My work experience is highly varied and I have been fortunate to work in a myriad of therapeutic settings and programs providing therapy services to a wide range of individuals, which includes the following: community mental health; Pre-K through 12 therapeutic, alternative, and public education; complex medical; trauma focused; memory impairment; substance abuse; relationship difficulties; children & teens in crisis; family conflict; and with children and adults affected by autism spectrum disorders.
I am a graduate of Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and hold a Master’s Degree in Expressive Therapies and Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis in art therapy. I am a Registered and Board Certified Art Therapist & Art Therapy Certified Supervisor (ATCB# 10-038) with the Art Therapy Credentials Board and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (MH#12643) and LMHC Qualified Supervisor in the State of Florida. I am a member of the American Art Therapy Association, the Association for Play Therapy and formerly served as the Treasurer for the Florida Art Therapy Association. Recently, I contributed a chapter on Art Therapy to the text “Integrating Expressive Arts and Play Therapy: A Guidebook for Mental Health Practitioners and Educators,” co-authored chapter, with art therapist Rachel Brandoff, on Art Therapy Supervision to the text “Digital Art Therapy: Materials, Methods and Applications,” and co-authored a chapter on Museum Based Adolescent Art Therapy Group to develop affect regulation skills, with art therapist Angel Duncan, in the text “Creative Arts-Based Group Therapy with Adolescents: Theory and Practice“. When possible, I enjoy presenting, teaching, and training on the topics of art therapy and mental health both locally and nationally.
Reina recently became a HearthMath Certified Practitioner and is already seeing success using this interactive bio-feedback technology with her clients. HeartMath in conjunction with their clinical approach that helps teach self-regulation and emotional management skills for helping to cope effectively with stress, anxiety and other distressing emotions.
If you are ready to take the next step in your journey towards reaching your full potential, please call me at 239-297-7099 or a send an email. I look forward to discussing how we may be able to work together to help you achieve your goals.
Reina is currently not taking on new clients, however there are other therapists in the practice that she supervises.

Alaina Loomis, MS, LMHC-QS
Art Therapist, EMDR Trained Therapist, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Qualified Supervisor #MH-20327
About Me
Hi there—I’m so glad you’re here and am excited to get to know you! My name is Alaina, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Clinical Art Therapist. I am passionate about helping people become the best version of themselves, feel empowered, and get their spark back!
I graduated magna cum laude from Nazareth University with my Master of Science Degree in Creative Arts Therapy in 2018 and obtained my Florida Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license in February 2022 (MH#20327). I am also an LMHC Qualified Supervisor in the State of Florida and truly enjoy supporting the next generation of therapists as they find their wings and grow into confident, compassionate clinicians.
I have completed EMDRIA training to provide EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing- it’s a mouthful, I know!) to both adults and children, which is a highly researched and evidence-based therapeutic approach that is highly effective for treating trauma, as well as other mental health disorders such as grief, anxiety, OCD, phobias, etc. I also have advanced EMDR training in Recent Traumatic Episode Protocol (R-TEP) and Group Traumatic Episode Protocol (G-TEP). R-TEP and G-TEP are approaches that help individuals to work through isolated incidents of trauma (i.e., an accident, natural disaster such as a hurricane or flood, shooting, or choking incident, etc.) in a way that is less invasive.
When I’m not in session, you might find me curled up with my dog or cats, reading a good book, binge-watching my favorite show, or getting competitive with my family while playing board games, cards, or Mario! I love to jam out to my favorite music, draw and paint, cook tasty meals and bake all sorts of treats! I enjoy walks with my family, sunsets, and a good thunder storm. I am a Florida transplant and hail from New York State. Some of my favorite past-times include downhill skiing, water skiing, going for relaxing boat rides, and riding horses with my family.
Experience
I have been providing outpatient therapy services to children and adults in the Fort Myers area for the last 8 years, and have been with Florida Art Therapy Services, LLC for almost 7 years. I have been blessed to have worked with such a wide variety of individuals across many different settings throughout my career.
Prior to joining Florida Art Therapy Services, LLC, I worked as a teacher for grades K-12, as an aid for children on the Autism Spectrum in an Applied Behavioral Analysis program, as a respite care provider for children with Autism, and worked for several years as a trauma therapist at the Children’s Advocacy Center. I also worked at a local school for several years, providing therapy to children in grades K-8 and served on the school’s threat management team to assist students in crisis.
Approach
I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and adults with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and trauma, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), depression, anxiety, OCD, phobias, behavioral difficulties, low-self esteem, family conflict, and developmental delays. I like to work closely with parents to assist them in finding behavior and coping strategies that can help their child to be successful, both at home and school.
I have learned to adapt my therapeutic approach to the specific needs of each client I work with. Due to this, I utilize an “eclectic” approach to therapy, combining elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Client-Centered Therapy, Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Jungian Therapy in addition to Art Therapy and Play Therapy techniques to facilitate growth, self-exploration, resilience, and change.
In our work together, you’ll find a safe, supportive space to process what you’ve been through, build healthy coping skills, and strengthen your ability to manage life’s challenges. It is important to me to be hands-on, engaging, and approachable and take the time to get to know the specific needs of you and your family. I am not afraid to gently challenge clients, advocate for your needs, and empower you to create meaningful change in your life.
Whether it’s healing from trauma, finding calm in the middle of worry, or helping your child feel more confident and connected, therapy can help you move toward resilience, balance, and lasting growth. I believe that incorporating education as well as mindfulness and relaxation techniques into therapy provides opportunities for you to enhance your inner strengths and provides you with the tools you need to succeed.
I am now accepting new clients at a service rate of $155 a session as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor #MH-20327 and am available to schedule with clients on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays from 11:30 am-5:30 pm. I also accept the Step Up for Students Scholarship. I am also accepting Registered Mental Health Counseling Interns (RMHCI) for supervision at a rate of $125 per hour session.
If you are interested in learning more or scheduling an appointment with me, please call our office at 239-297-7099 or use the chat feature to request an appointment.

I will laugh with you, cry with you and be with you on your journey to healing. My goals are your goals: To be the best version of yourself, whatever that looks like.
I specialize in children, teens and women’s issues. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, addiction issues, trouble adjusting or have a trauma background, I use art therapy and expressive materials to help you in session. I’m an art therapist with extensive experience in using a variety of evidence based practices.
My clients are motivated to change but may need a different approach. Past clients have described my therapeutic style as “real,” “honest” and “very caring, but she’ll call you out.” My ideal client is willing to try and venture into the unknown because they live outside of the box. Often my clients are bullied or excluded because they identify as LGBTQIA+, differently abled and/or neurodivergent. As an artist, I can empathize with feeling alone in this world.
Sound familiar? Reach out to me for a free 15 minute consultation. I offer individual sessions, group therapy and family therapy options. I do not take insurance but will provide a receipt for out of network mental health services. My scheduling is flexible with evening hours and telehealth (virtual therapy) options. I’m here to answer any questions you may have!

Life is hard, and that’s ok! For children and adolescents, their world can be filled with chaos and uncertainty. During this important stage in their lives, life can feel pretty overwhelming. Maybe you have noticed that life changes have had a greater impact on your little one, and the world feels like it’s moving too fast around them? Maybe you notice your child feeling lost, or stuck inside their mind, and unable to communicate their emotions? Maybe they need some guidance and support in self-expression and their identity? If any of this sounds familiar, your child may need some support in their self-confidence while coping with various life adjustments.
Hi, my name is Skyler, I am a Graduate Clinical Mental Health Counseling Student Intern, and I’m here to help. It is important to connect with my clients at a human level. I strive to maintain a supportive, authentic & caring relationship with those I serve. I honor the pace at which they set in their therapy journey, and will advocate for their needs both inside and outside of the therapy sessions.
